Keystone Pipeline Report Bias Enbridge Spill Cover Up

State Department Lies about Keystone XL pipeline, calling Environmental Review impartial within the first minute of the public hearings:

Serious Conflict of Interest regarding Environmental Reviews pertaining to the proposed Keystone XL pipeline. "At TransCanada’s recommendation, the department hired Cardno Entrix, an environmental contractor based in Houston, even though it had previously worked on projects with TransCanada and describes the pipeline company as a “major client” in its marketing materials."
 

With grossly inflated unsubstantiated job numbers, environmental assessments done by paid advisers.

In a letter to Mr. Obama, leaders of 17 green groups said State officials had shown “pro-industry bias” throughout the department’s review of TransCanada’s application.

Enbridge Covers Up Oil Spill with Grass
Taken in Marshall, Michigan, one year after the July 2010 spill into the Kalamazoo River watershed. Enbridge covers 800 000 gallons of spilled oil from a pipeline burst with sand and mesh grass and says it cleaned up. Talk about sweeping it under the rug. When this man cuts the mesh covering the oil, he sinks to his waist in oil.

 

4000 lbs (2 tonnes) of our beautiful Boreal Forest bed must be destroyed for one $60 barrel of oil. Even without expansion, the tarsands are currently the size of England. Please help!?

In March, the Pew Environmental Group released a report stating mining, oil and gas operations in the boreal are having a huge impact on the region’s freshwater supply. The report states 40 percent of boreal habitat being displaced (740,000 acres) for tar sands strip mining are wetlands.

Not really the forum for oil jobs.
It is like posting slave labor job opportunities on a human rights post.
The clean energy job sector is healthy and growing in the US.
There are alternatives to fossil fuel jobs.
Personally I would rather go hungry than sell my soul to corrupt oil corporations.
We are the change.
